I had to organize a lot of information into an intuitive website that showcases architecture in Utah. With a surprising number of professionals using generic emails and student emails that end with graduation, I built a way for people to sign up for a free email address @archutah.com. This allows anyone to use an architecture related email address, drives daily traffic to the site, and acts as free advertising to anyone using or receiving emails.

Since it’s a motel, I couldn’t resist having cockroaches roam the browser window. I came up with the slogan “The only bugs are the roaches” to go along with it. In case the roaches freak you out, I added a light switch to turn them on and off. For the masthead, I created a motel sign with alternating messages and lights that flicker on and off.
