Darcy Totten wanted some new business cards for Red Paper Planes. I made a diagram to fold the card into a paper plane. A red one.

The Green Paper, a local newspaper about being nice to the environment, had me paint one of their boxes. Inspired by the children’s book, The Giving Tree, I turned the box into an abstract tree trunk.

A fun little iPhone game that needed some graphics. The first thing was to come up with 3 colors that logically implied good, not so good, and bad. I made a few different sets of faces just to add variety: Dweebs, Monsters, Anime, and Curmudgeons.


Identity for Ciretose, an iPhone software developer. We wanted something that had a story. Since Ciretose specializes in software for Apple products, we took inspiration from the “Apple key”.

I can honestly say I miss New York….or miss some things about it. The Northwest and I are far more compatible. But I had a good fling with the big city. Even taking into consideration all the museums, galleries, world attractions of various kinds, the thing I miss most is the sunset on the rickety old rooftop water towers.

I must have been hungry when I came up with the record stack for DJ Linus. I also added a nod to drippy-paint logos, which abound in Hip Hop, by applying the syrup to the lettering.
